Condolence: My sympathy and condolences to Renate, Lucas, and Lindsey. My son, Jesse Doubek, played for Jeff at West Hills in the late 90s. Jeff was not only a great basketball coach (Junkie!), but even a greater husband, and father. Our friendship went beyond basketball. Our family's entertained each other several times in our homes. There were the annual summer basketball camps, all over California. Tahoe and Big Bear were the highlights. Great bonding experience for coach, parents, and players. Jesse and I had the pleasure to see and talk to Jeff and Renate recently. Where else? An Aztec Basketball Game. Jeff may you rest in peace...basketball in hand.
Condolence: We all grew up so many of us Jeff, Jimmy, Duke,Joe, Rick, Steve, Rob, Tony, Todd, Dexter, Chris, Linda, Mary, Marsha all in the 60’s all in Green Tree -Swimming playing and just being kids and growing up together without a care in the world now so many are gone❤️. Rest In Peace Jeff forever in our Hearts
Condolence: My prayers are with Jeff’s family and friends. I haven’t seen Jeff since 1978 at Point Loma College. Jeff used to work out at Mesa college and invited me to try out at Point Loma, resulting in my spending 2 years at PLNC. Which is where my faith was rekindled and I met my wife of 37 years. I only wish I had a chance to thank him for helping me. See you in Heaven my friend.
