Life Story for
George "Russ" Clark
On May 29th 2018, longtime resident of Lakeside, California, George (Russ) Russell Clark passed away at home after a long battle with cancer.
A loving family man, he is survived by his wife of 34 years, Bonnie Clark, his 3 daughters as well as his son-in-laws: Dave and Cynthia Schulze, Shari Clark, and Richard and Heather Watson. He lives on through his five grandsons: Tyler and Kyle Drees, Austin,Tanner and Conner Watson.
Russ was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and later lived in Spokane, Washington before finally settling in California.
A man of all trades, having been a concrete contractor, Roller Rink chain owner and operator, sports promoter, real estate agent, San Diego LDS Temple employee, and finally retiring as a security guard/ shuttle driver from Barona Casino at the age of 80. He enjoyed a very diverse life making many lifelong friends that he considered family.
The memorial service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints at 10052 N Magnolia Avenue Santee, CA 92071 on Saturday June 16, 2018 at 2pm.
In lieu of gifts and flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
