Services

All too often, families discount the value of ceremony after the death of a loved one, and we certainly don't want you to make that mistake. Coming together after a loss is a very essential part of the grieving process.

Funeral Services

Coming together with friends and family, whether in a formal funeral or a more relaxed memorial service, gives everyone the opportunity to share memories, express emotions, and find comforting support. Whether you choose burial or cremation, the need for acknowledgment of the loss with family and friends is ever present. Together we can create a unique meaningful ceremony to express the genuine individuality of your loved one. We offer families a beautiful setting in which to gather together with friends and family.

With reception facilities and catering services, you can create an event that will be long remembered. A service that will make a difference in the lives of all who attend.

Burial Services

When your loved one has chosen to be buried, the ceremonies you design revolve around the casket being present. Traditions may be followed, with a viewing, and then a funeral service in the chapel. Or you could choose to have a more relaxed memorial service, even in the family home.

A private service at the graveside could then follow these more public events. But let's just say this; there is no "hard and fast" formula for honoring your loved one when burial has been selected. We're here to listen to your concerns, share our experience, and help you to arrive at the perfect way to gather together, prior to your loved one's interment in a cemetery of your choice.

Cremation Services

Cremation refers solely to the manner in which you or your loved one has chosen to deal with the physical remains. It doesn't limit the ways you can honor your loved one's life. We heartily suggest that you have a funeral or memorial service, because your need for such a healing experience is not lessened by the decision to be cremated.

Veterans Services

We truly believe that the men and women who answered our nation's call embody the ideals Americans hold so dear. Because they have proven their devotion to their fellow citizens and to a grateful nation, we all owe them the same respect and devotion in return.

Why do more families trust us to care for their veteran?

Who is eligible for veteran's services?

In short, the veteran must have been honorably discharged. A more detailed list of those service men and women who may apply for, and receive veterans' burial benefits, with full military honors if they choose would include:
  • Military members on active duty or in the Selected Reserve
  • Former military members who served on active duty and departed under conditions ther than dishonorable
  • Former military members who completed at least one term of enlistment or period of initial obligated service in the Selected Reserve and departed under conditions other than dishonorable
  • Former military members discharged from the Selected Reserve due to a disability incurred or aggravated in the line of duty

Create Healing Experiences

Losing someone you dearly loved can be emotionally devastating, and in the depth of early grief, you might think that it would be "easier" to just take care of things as simply as possible. But, we hear it every day; easier isn't always better. You must set the stage for the future by providing your family and friends with an opportunity to start the healing process.

A Consistent Place of Healing

In our modern society, people aren't given enough time to grieve their losses. The pressures of work and financial concerns both can bring the bereaved back into the workplace far too soon. Having a permanent place - in a cemetery, mausoleum, or cremation garden - that can be visited regularly by family and friends is an essential part of the time following a death. Such a location is a focal point of memorialization. It provides a consistent place to go to remember your loved one, and to commemorate important occasions. It can help to make a birthday or anniversary less painful.

A permanent place to reflect on your loved one becomes a way of connecting to a family's past. Visiting the resting place of grandparents or great-grandparents can anchor children to their personal history.

The Value of Coming Together

Even with a cremation, bringing family and friends together to share memories and to support one another can be done simply and elegantly. Offer everyone an opportunity to collectively begin the healing process.
